HVAC Treatment Solutions

No one wants their vehicle to smell unpleasant. Over time mold, mildew, and fungus can grow in the vehicle’s heating and air conditioning system. We offer powerful and effective solutions for dealing with these problems on every customer’s car, truck, or SUV.

The Problem

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems are prone to developing objectionable odors. Microorganisms flourish in the cool, dark, moist environment found inside an automobile’s vents or evaporator housing.

In addition to the environment and design of the system itself, the majority of these microorganisms are introduced with the outside air supply. This is an issue because in all modes except maximum cooling (max A/C), the air supply is from the outside. Even in max A/C mode, some systems provide up to 20% fresh air, which increases in-car pressure slightly.  Normally in max A/C mode inside air is recirculated.

Even with the introduction of a cabin air filter designed to catch dust, pollen, and other airborne material that can make riding in a car unpleasant – it doesn’t always trap the smaller particles such as mold, mildew, and bacteria spores entering your vehicle’s cabin.

As a result, you can have some pretty gnarly stuff (microorganisms) growing in the HVAC system like:

  • Mold
  • Mildew
  • Bacteria
  • Fungus

All of these microorganisms need moisture, food, and temperatures above 40°F to flourish – making the vehicle’s HVAC system a perfect environment for growing.

Further, the microfilters alone cannot rid the vehicle of odors from tobacco, clothing, bodily odor, spilled food and beverages, and vehicle fluid leaks that get trapped in the vehicle’s carpet, headliner, and upholstery.

The Solution

Taking advantage of Wynn’s HVAC system service to help your customers by:

  • Targeting and destroying mold, mildew, fungus, and bacteria in the vehicle’s air handling system.
  • Neutralizing odors due to microorganisms trapped in the vehicle’s interior.
  • Mitigate and combat future organism growth.
  • Minimize allergic reactions creating a safe, pleasant, and healthier vehicle environment.
  • Leaving the entire interior of the vehicle environment with a fresh scent.
  • Replenishing anti-wear ingredients.
  • Stopping wear and noise in A/C systems.
  • Lubricating the entire A/C system and extending the life of the compressor.
  • Identifying major leaks thanks to UV dye detection.
